There is something inherently cool about fast, business oriented sedans. The BMW F80 M3 is no exception. The 3.0 Liter, twin turbocharged I6 produces 425 hp propelling the car to 62 mph in just 4.3 seconds. In order to make sure this car could be properly enjoyed on the Colorado roads, we made sure the paint was well protected from rock chips and road debris impact with our Full Body Protection Package done in XPEL ULTIMATE Clear Bra. There is nothing worse than being on an exciting canyon road and hearing a rock bounce off the hood, and knowing that it has likely caused permanent damage to the paint. So how do we do it?

Every project begins with a thorough decontamination of each surface of the vehicle. We ensure that we have a pure bond between the clear bra adhesive and the paint by removing all of the above and below surface bonded contaminants. While the vehicle is being cleaned and prepared, we are also preparing the Clear Bra. We use the XPEL DAP Software to custom design coverage for each vehicle. The software provides us with perfectly scanned and fitting patterns for each individual section of the car. We then go in and modify those patterns to add points, extend and wrap edges, and hide the film any way we can. This software keeps a sharp blade from hand trimming over complex areas of the vehicle and damaging the paint underneath. It also creates complete uniformity, where we have perfect circles cut around parking sensors for example, that do not jump out to the human eye.

By spending several hours in the film prep and design phase, by the time we are installing film on the car we are simply putting the puzzle together. This results in a very clean installation without re-positioning of the film which causes debris and distortion in the adhesive. Now on to the install!
