BMW M3 in for XPEL Clear Bra and GYEON quartz Ceramic Coating in Denver

The Yas Marina Blue does SO much to compliment the lines of the F80 M3. The 3.0 Liter turbo charged in-line 6 cylinder produces 425 horsepower pushing the sedan to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. With the aggressive body lines and that much power, this car will be driven enthusiastically. To keep the paint well protected and easy to maintain we went with our Full Front in XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Clear Bra and our Level 1 GYEON quartz Ceramic Coating Package. So how do we do it?

Each project starts with a thorough decontamination of each and every surface of the vehicle. We want an absolutely pure surface to work with so that the Clear Bra and Coatings will perform and look their best. This is done with several washes using GYEON quartz Q2M Foam and Q2M Bathe, Iron particle removal using GYEON quartz Q2M Iron, and our Clay Bar process.

While the vehicle is being prepared, we are also preparing the Clear Bra. Each section of the car is custom designed using the XPEL DAP Design Software. This software gives us a data base filled with patterns for each area of the vehicle. We then customize that pattern to extend edges, delete side markers, or anything else we want to do to provide the best coverage possible with the film hidden as much as possible. This software, and the Graphtec 60″ plotter also allow for a perfectly safe install, as there is no hand trimming with a razor over your paint, as well as a completely uniform installation. For example there are perfect circles cut around small parking sensors, which is something the human hand can just not do.

The next step is Paint Correction. We want to eliminate and correct all defects in the paint. By removing the defects in the paints clear coat, we allow light to reflect off the surface cleanly which delivers the most color, gloss, and pop possible out of the paint system. This is done using the RUPES Polishing System.

Time to install the Clear Bra! This M3 received our Full Front Protection Package in XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Clear Bra which protects the Front Bumper, Headlamps and Fog Lamps, Full Hood, Full Fenders, Side Mirrors, and Door Cups from rock chips and road debris damage.

Once the film is installed, it is allowed to dry overnight. This lets the slip solution used during application permeate the film and dry so that we can put a dry eye on the car in the morning and double check our work. Then it is time for the GYEON quartz Ceramic Coating. This car received GYEON quartz Q2 SYNCRO which is a two part, separate base coat top coat chemistry coating system designed for long term durability and high gloss. This ceramic coating will offer real world protection from UV and environmental impact, tons of gloss, and an extremely slick surface that will make regular washing fast and safe.

This M3 can now be fully enjoyed, without the worry of road debris damage during normal use. The paint is well protected and looking its best, with a coating system that will offer long term protection while making cleaning after use very fast and easy. Check out the final shots!
