Clear Bra and Quartz Coatings on this Porsche GT3 in Denver

With a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder producing 500 hp that can push the car from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds through the PDK transmission, it is an absolute blast to pilot. You know what’s coming next. Every project begins with a thorough cleaning and decontamination of every inch of the car. We want a debris free and perfectly clean surface to work with. This includes a GYEON Foam pre soak, several washes, clay bar, and GYEON Iron Decontamination.

Once the paint is totally clean we can inspect it for any defects to be corrected through the polishing process. After Polish it is time to install the XPEL Clear Bra. Using our Graphtec Plotter and XPEL DAP Software we ae able to custom design coverage by manipulating the patterns within the software. this allows for a very safe and uniform install, where we are not relying on the human hand to trim in the film over the paint.

Knowing that this car will see plenty of time on the track, we made sure that the areas that would see the most damage were well protected. This GT3 received a modified Driver’s Package to include the Front Bumper, Full Hood, Full Fenders, Full Roof, Rear Wing, Rocker Panels, Full Rear Fenders, Rear Bumper Impact Area, Side Mirrors, and Door Cups. The XPEL Clear Bra is an 8.5 mm thick optically clear urethane that will absorb the impact from road debris and prevent it from permanently damaging the paint.

Once the Clear Bra, or Paint Protection Film, is installed. We move on to the Quartz Coatings. The GYEON quartz Coatings will deliver tons of gloss, long term durability, and real protection from UV and chemical damage. They will also make regular wash maintenance very fast and easy, especially after track days.
